Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation by the Guest

We are a small B&B, so cancellations can have a big impact on us. We do however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases.

Reservations cancelled sixty (60) days or more prior to the date of arrival no charge will be made.

Reservations cancelled thirty (30) to fifty nine (59) days prior to the date of arrival will incur 25% of the room(s) total booking price. 

Reservations cancelled eight (8) to twenty nine (29) days prior to the date of arrival will incur 50% of the room(s) total booking price.

Reservations cancelled less than 7 days prior of the date of arrival will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to 100% of the room(s) total booking price.

If you change your reservation to reduce the number of nights we reserve the right to charge you for the nights you had reserved originally.

If you wish to change your reservation to move it to a different arrival date we will try to be as accommodating as possible.  However, subject to room availability if the change to your reservation reduces the number of nights we reserve the right to charge you for the nights you had reserved originally.

There are no refunds for early check out and “no shows.

We take all bookings in good faith, as we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival.  Guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with La Vecchia Casa di Barbara Cutts for accommodation that are pre booked (verbal, email or online) forms a legally binding contract.  For this reason we strongly advise that you take out a suitable insurance product to cover against unexpected costs such as cancellation fees.  In addition we may take legal action, through the Courts, to recover any outstanding debts.

Cancellation by Us

Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full.  Should you wish to, we will attempt to book you into another bed and breakfast in the local area in a similar standard of room(s). Should this establishment be more expensive than La Vecchia Casa di Barbara Cutts, we will pay the difference for the first night of your stay.  Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.

Force Majeure 

We cannot be held responsible for events caused by force majeure in other words events beyond our control such as a Pandemic (Covid),  flood, fire, earthquake, war etc that result in the change, cancellation or curtailment of your stay with us; or impact upon your travel arrangements to or from Italy.   Compensation for any losses or additional expenditure or damages you subsequently incur will not be made under these circumstances.

•         Your name

•         Booking Reservation number (which you received via email)

If you prefer, email your cancellation request to: info@lavecchiacasalimiti.com with the above mentioned information and the reason for the cancellation.

Your request will be processed and if it complies with the cancellation policy for the room(s) booked we will refund the corresponding amount to your online account.

Once you have cancelled your reservation you should receive an email confirming the cancellation. Please check your inbox and spam/junk mail folders. If you don’t receive an email please contact us.
